Label Design:

/ PROJECT SCOPE

Concept Development, Typography, Illustration, Layout Design, Print Specifications, Mockups

Designing wine labels has always been a fun and creatively fulfilling project for me. Typically, I start by reviewing a brief that outlines key details such as the wine’s varietal, target demographic, competitive products, and the budget for print and paper specifications. I also take into account any specific brand values or positioning that the client wants to highlight. Once I have a solid understanding, I research competing labels to get a sense of the current market and find opportunities to make my design stand out.

From there, I develop 3-4 concepts that vary in style, depending on the client’s preferences. Some clients prefer a bold, modern, and illustrative approach, while others lean toward more traditional designs. I focus on choosing the right typography, layout, and imagery to reflect the wine’s character, ensuring that the label is both visually appealing and informative. My goal is always to create a label that resonates with the target audience while staying true to the brand’s identity and standing out on the shelf.
